Reddit user PaleAd6109 shared a post on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet subreddit where they took a picture of what they think Fuecoco’s evolutions could look like. The image contains Fuecoco’s original appearance with the second and third evolved forms that they believe can match the new Fire-type Pokémon. However, due to recent leaks of Fuecoco’s evolutions, the images have been flagged as potential spoilers for viewers on the subreddit.

For the second evolved form, the artist named the Incubator evolution as a combination of hatchery and alligator. They made the evolution a little bigger with fire-themed spikes on its back and tail, and the Pokémon’s primary color changed to orange with red and white on its belly. The Pokémon has a more relaxed demeanor with drool hanging from its mouth, and has what appears to be an egg incubating on its head. The user even provided his own Pokedex entry in a separate post for his opinion on Fuecoco’s second evolution.

Fuecoco’s final evolution is much larger than the second, looking much more crocodilian with yellow as its primary color. The user has not yet created a name for it, but has provided an entry for it in the comments section. The third evolution is described as the “Pokémon Soul Ferry” and is a Fire/Ghost type Pokémon. It is neither fully dead nor alive and even transports wayward spirits into the afterlife, providing them with passage on its back.

Overall reception to the post was generally positive, with many in the comments section appreciating the fan-made designs of Fuecoco’s evolutions. Many commenters liked the different color choices as well as the descriptions the user provided in the evolved forms. With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Scheduled for release in November, fans can expect to see even more fanart from Fuecoco and the other upstarts before the games are released.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are scheduled for release on November 18, 2022, for the Nintendo Switch.
